New Features of Windows 8.1 Preview

     


                         The most efficient and easy way to hang out with the computer. The most user friendly interface . Yes its Windows 8 After the successful new version of windows from Microsoft having a much better user interface has now got more better. Upcoming is the next version of Windows "Windows 8.1" official releasing on October 17 2013. Just before that windows has released a preview version .

1. LOCK SCREEN:
     

    Unlike the win8 the preview version has got a better lock screen . In this new lock screen we can load multiple photos from our Computer or from the pictures in our SkyDrive.


2.START MENU:


      The preview version of windows 8.1 has got new tile sizes (big,wide,large,small). That has certainly increased the user interface. In addition  we can get all the list of apps by just swiping up for the tablets and laptops with touch screen and pressing arrow down for non touch screen pc and laptops. The user can also short the list of apps in the way that is convenient for them to view . The apps can be pinned to start menu so can be opened more quickly. We can customize the start screen by moving multiple application to whichever position we want. We can even add custom pictures to start screen
background plus motion accents.

3.MULTITASKING:
 The multitasking has got even better in Windows 8.1 we can run up to 4 real running application in one screen.

4. SKY DRIVE :
 Windows 8.1 preview comes with integrated SkyDrive making it easy to save the documents directly to SkyDrive.

5.SEARCH :
 The new search feature gives us all the pc and web results in same column. We can navigate to application or play music or video directly from search engine. The web based search is very different then the previous windows 8. It gives user an app like experience . The search results consists of basic information pictures Wikipedia and the web results. The web results are not only the links but shows them the way they look when we open it. The images search has different tools that can filter the images just the type size or color we want to view.

      This is preaty much what we have till now in Preview version. Hopefully we get some more features in the official release .
